From my window is a project—part documentary, part audiovisual essay—that portrays a peripheral Barcelona neighborhood, El Besòs i el Maresme, from a single vantage point: my window. The view from there reveals a space devoid of specific function—a "non-place"—that residents have gradually woven into their daily lives.
The piece intertwines my personal story—shaped by heartbreak and the cancellation of a fiction project (an artistic loss)—with observations of the everyday lives of those who pass through or use this space. Viewed from a distance through the camera lens, small actions and anonymous gestures transform into potential narratives. The project seeks to create a dialogue between a deeply personal, intimate story and this shared public space—a space that takes on new meaning through its varied uses and through the inner world of the observer.​​​
